Letterpressed tags

I bought a few of these pretty gift tags from Cotton Idea Studio.  I just love the color combinations and, of course, the fact that they're letterpressed.  I will definitely be saving one of each to keep for myself.

Ripe melon

This morning, I finally cut open the cantaloupe that had been sitting on our counter for days and had myself the easiest breakfast ever.

For the Love of Light

Hooray!  My copies (yes, I bought two) of For the Love of Light came today.  And let me tell you, my friends: it is one lovely book.  I can't wait to read it from cover to cover tonight. 

Red stools

These three old stools are not only cute (and red!), but useful.  They're scattered about our house and are quite portable and sturdy when you need to hold things like reading material and the random stray drink.

For hire

Thankfully, I have plenty of shells on hand to fill up a lonely bowl.  Should such a situation ever arise.

Single stems

I'm not very good at arranging a random assortment of flowers in a vase.  So, when I have a mixed bunch, I prefer to display the individual flowers in small bottles - they look just as pretty.

Lines

This random, covered window is on the side of a house around the corner from ours.  I always half expect it to fly open on a summer day and for the owners to start selling flowers or ice cream to anyone passing by.

Converted

We are Frank's Red Hot people.  But one night, our friend Wilson had us try the chipotle-flavored Tabasco sauce.  Oh my.  This is just 24 hours into our first bottle, if that's any indication of how much we love it.  I think we need a case of the stuff.
